Back in 2016, I was a busy mom of three young girls, juggling all the demands of life. I felt burnt out, tired, and sluggish. My health was at an all-time low—my diet was out of control, and I now realise how deeply my emotions were affecting my food choices. I was turning to comfort foods for relief. I wasn’t taking care of myself, always putting my health and wellness last. I was drained, constantly saying “yes” to others out of fear of disappointing them, leaving little time for me. I didn’t even know what I truly enjoyed anymore. I was stuck in a cycle, running on autopilot and going nowhere.

It became clear that something had to change if I wanted a different result.

I decided to start making small changes—focusing on my diet and incorporating exercise into my daily routine. I carved out time for myself each morning to take a walk. Slowly but surely, I began to feel more alive. I was nourishing my body, doing things I enjoyed, and seeing a shift in my energy.

My priorities changed, and so did my outlook on life. I was feeling refreshed, energetic, and full of life. I had regained my health and was enjoying life again.

As my health improved, so did my entire perspective on life. I became passionate about helping others make similar changes. However, a new challenge arose when my daughter began experiencing anxiety. After trying many different avenues to help her, a friend suggested we explore a holistic approach. This led us to a chiropractor who specialised in emotions and their connection to the physical body. This experience was transformative for both of us. While my daughter received the support she needed, I also began to confront my own stress and anxiety, uncovering the root causes of the fears that had been holding me back for so long. It was through this journey that I discovered self-love, acceptance, and began healing parts of myself I had long suppressed.

In the process, I encountered Self-Directed Healing (SDH), a powerful practice that facilitates emotional healing quickly and effectively. SDH helped me access my subconscious mind and uncover the limiting beliefs that had taken root there. Through this process, I gained awareness of my emotional triggers and where they were stored in my body. I learned how to process these feelings in a way that led to rapid and life-changing results. This newfound understanding allowed me to break free from old patterns, leading to a more fulfilling and empowered life. I began to listen deeply with my heart, mind, and body and connected with what I truly needed.

As a certified Self-Directed Healing practitioner, I now understand the profound impact SDH can have on people’s lives. It has provided me with valuable insight into my own moods, behavior, and patterns, and how to release emotions like anxiety, fear, and anger that had been trapped in my body for years.

By releasing the emotions and beliefs that once held me captive, I now experience a sense of lightness and freedom that has transformed my perspective on life into one that is positive, abundant, and full of potential.
